Another Tuesday
It was meant to be a surprise but as I found out, many members were expecting it. Last night was devoted to goodies from down under. No, we did not have any kangaroo dishes or any Aussie Vegemite on toast. It was an ode to Penfolds! Starting from the humble Rawsons Retreat Shiraz Cabernet, to the Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz to the famous Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz.
Chef-sine-diploma Pambos, presented a variety of interesting dishes to complement the wine and as usual, he has astonished everyone when he served individual portions of egg-tagliatelle toped with red wild mushrooms. Yes, it was another mushroom night but I, at least, have greatly enjoyed it.
